The bead is simple and quick to fix by the plasterer. On most backgrounds this can be carried out by using plaster dabs at suitable centres. Where the bead has to be fixed to the metal lath, it is recommended that they should be joined by wire. Where cutting is required, this should be carried out using a hacksaw and tin snips. If a bead has to be joined, then stainless steel nails should be used.
These beads have been specifically designed to overcome the problems caused by extremely harsh conditions such as some coastal locations, swimming pools etc. or where drying out of the render is likely to be prolonged. Suitable for use in external situations.
