The STS Construction Board is a heavy-duty fibre cement board ideal for walls. The high density of the fibre cement enhances sound reduction massively when used as the wall board on internal party walls. When incorporated in a timber frame party wall with Acoustic insulation, recent lab tests resulted in a 45dB reduction of airborne sound and 50dB reduction with the addition of a resilient bar.
